How much does one pail cover?
Each gallon covers approximately 400 square feet with a single coat (2,000 sqft per 5-gal pail). Only 1 coat required.
How do I apply it?
Mix well with a squirrel mixer and use continuous agitation while spraying. Apply with a standard airless or HVLP sprayer (low pressure, 5–15 tip). Clean roof surfaces of dust and cobwebs first, mask electrical outlets, then apply one even thin coat to all roof surfaces. Works on wood, OSB, and metal substrates.
Can I use it with existing insulation?
Yes. Radiant barrier coatings work alongside existing insulation and enhance their effectiveness. Apply to attic roof decking and rafters above your current insulation for maximum heat reflection. If adding solid insulation in the rafters, maintain a 2" air space between LO/MIT and the insulation below.
What is the warranty?
All products include a lifetime performance warranty when applied according to manufacturer specifications. LO/MIT should not need to be re-coated for the life of the roof.
